Sue is the Managing Director for The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation. Since joining the Broad Foundation team in 2013, Sue helped execute the foundation’s national public education grantmaking strategy. Her responsibilities now include oversight of the strategic development and execution of grantmaking focused on Los Angeles at the intersection of educational, economic, and environmental equity. Prior to joining the foundation, she began her career as a financial and policy analyst in emerging markets and transitioned to the social sector where she advised nonprofits navigating complex challenges through a mix of funding and advisory services. Sue has a B.A. from Harvard University, an M.A. from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, and an M.B.A from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
